Grade Onboarding
I want to manage a single grade
For: anyone who only needs to manage one grade (e.g. a grade-level lead). After approval you become a grade admin and can manage the classes within that grade.
What to prepare
- School name (required — the full name of your school)
- Grade name (the grade you'll manage, e.g. "Class of 2026" or "Grade 10")
- Your name and contact email (for the verification code and onboarding notice)
- Reason for applying
Steps
- Enter the school name.
- Enter the grade name — this tells the system you're applying at grade scope.
- Leave the class name empty (filling it in switches you to a single-class application and a homeroom-teacher role).
- Enter your name, contact email, and verification code, add your reason, and submit.
- Wait for review; you'll be notified by email.
After approval
You'll get an onboarding email. Once logged in you are the grade admin for that grade and can:
- Create classes within your grade and assign homeroom teachers (see )
- View your grade's score and ranking statistics
Already a school admin?
If your school is already onboarded and you're a school admin, you don't need to apply — just log in, go to Grade Management → New Grade, create the grade, and assign a grade admin.
Scope boundaries: a school admin can only manage their own school; a grade admin can only manage their own grade. See .
FAQ
- Want to manage the whole school, not just one grade? Apply for instead — school name only.
- It says the grade already has an admin? The system shows you their contact details — ask them to add your account.
- Typed the grade name wrong? Re-submit before review; after approval, ask your school admin to correct it in the console.
